Zinio, LLC Launches Mac Version of Digital Magazine Reader
IDG's Macworld Magazine Now Available For Digital Download
Brisbane, CA (April 7, 2003) - Zinio, LLC, the market leader at delivering magazines in digital form for major publishing partners, today announced the launch of Zinio Reader, the only desktop software that delivers a full magazine reading experience to computer screens, for the Apple Macintosh. The Zinio Reader for Mac OS X will offer enhanced graphics and features available only on the Mac. As part of the launch, IDG's Macworld, the premier Macintosh magazine, has been added to the company's growing stable of digital magazines.
The Zinio Reader, is a free software program that automatically delivers magazine issues, including Macworld, GamePro, Seventeen and BusinessWeek, to the reader's computer. Zinio digital magazines have the same content, graphics and advertisements as print, combined with engaging interactive elements such as full searchability and Web linking. Since March 2002, Zinio has delivered more than 3.5 million digital magazines to 325,000 customers in 200 countries. Zinio currently delivers more than 45 titles from 30 leading publishers.
