43 Magazines Commit to New Zinio Browser-Based Viewer
More Than Two Million Readers Subscribe to Zinio's Digital Magazines
San Francisco, CA (June 16, 2005) - Zinio, LLC, worldwide leader in digital magazine production, distribution and circulation today announced dramatic growth with the commitment of 43 magazines to its browser-based viewer, Zinio Express, in just 3 months. Magazines using, or planning to use, the new tool include Car and Driver, Cycle World, and Sound and Vision from Hachette Filipacchi Media, BusinessWeek from McGraw-Hill and Foreign Policy magazine. The company also achieved a milestone by acquiring two million subscribers, reflecting the growing base of committed readers.
Zinio Express is an easy-to-use, zero-learning curve, browser-based viewer optimized for sampling and promotion. It gives readers immediate access to magazine content with a lifelike page flip. Zinio Express became widely available in March of this year.
